For the release of the new installment of its Dead Island video game franchise, German-Austrian publisher Deep Silver commissioned the Urban Act agency with the creation of a Street Marketing operation that would raise the dead.
A zombie invasion in the Halles district of Paris and blood oozing out from the Fontaine des Innocents! An unprecedented Street Marketing device that created an apocalyptic atmosphere on par with the video game.
Who would have thought that a day would come when zombies would be wandering freely in Paris, distributing flyers to the passers bay!
To strengthen the operation, Cleans Tags and Street Furniture Stickering were placed near a selection of video game stores, particularly in the environment where the Zombie Operation was taking place. A Wild posting campaign (with 12m² posters) was also deployed near the busiest shopping areas to maximize the visibility of the operation.
A campaign that experienced a strong shareability on the social media with more than 3000 likes and 200 Facebook shares on photos and video of the operation.
A very specific profession, strong customer expectations and local know-how that is not always mastered
